Registration

For organisational reasons, prior registration is mandatory for all students – including those enrolled in teacher training programmes – in order to ensure smooth participation and coordination.

Bachelor’s and Master’s students

Participation in the graduation ceremonies is only possible if the application for the issuance of certificate documents has been submitted to the Examinations Office within the specified deadline.
At the time of application, all examinations and academic achievements – including the final thesis – must be fully completed and assessed.

Deadlines are set four weeks prior to the respective graduation ceremony and will be published on this page in due time.

You will find the appropriate application form for your degree programme on the website of the Examinations Office.

The deadline for submitting the application for the issuance of certificate documents for participation in the graduation ceremony in the winter semester 2025/26 for Bachelor’s and Master’s students is:
Friday, 9 January 2026

We kindly ask for your attention to these deadlines to ensure your participation can be confirmed without delay.

You submit your application for the issuance of your degree certificate to the Examinations Office within the specified deadline.
The Examinations Office prepares your certificate documents.
The Examinations Office sends your certificate documents to you by post.
The Examinations Office forwards the relevant form to the Dean’s Office.
The Dean’s Office sends you an invitation to your graduation ceremony.
You register for your graduation ceremony using the online registration form provided in the invitation, within the stated deadline.
During the graduation ceremony, you will receive a certified copy from the Faculty.
