+++ European Conference of Tropical Ecology at Passau +++

(01.03.26) The 9th European Conference of Tropical Ecology took place at the University of Passau from 23-27 February 2026 – organised by the Chair of Physical Geography with a focus on Human-Environment Research. We welcomed more than 230 international participants. The conference results were published as a Book of Abstracts.

+++ New seed catalogue of Kenyan woody species +++

(16.10.2025) The species-rich coastal forests of Kenya are severely threatened by human activities. In order to support the identification of plant seeds in various local tree nurseries, a seed catalogue of 69 woody species from coastal Kenya was developed in collaboration with Pwani University in Kenya.
