International visiting academics programme of the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences
The international visiting academics programme of the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences is intended for any of the faculty's own university teachers who wish to invite an international academic with a view to promoting cooperation in research.
The purpose of the programme is to make internationalisation accessible and a hands-on experience.
Its objectives are:
- to help develop and strengthen research cooperation with recognised international researchers;
- to give new impetus to research;
- to promote the academic achievement of early career researchers;
- to contribute to sustainable interdisciplinary and international networking.

Formalities
Responsibility
The hosting chair or professor has primary responsibility for assisting the academic during his or her visit. The Welcome Centre of the University of Passau offers comprehensive support to both the chairs and professors when it comes to finding accommodation and organising a ZIM account, Stud.IP access and a CampusCard.
