„I know there is a God because in Rwanda I shook hands with the devil. I have seen him, I have smelled him and I have touched him. I know the devil exists, and therefore I know there is a God"
So beschrieb Romeo Dallaire, der UN-General, der die Peacekeeping-Mission in Ruanda leitete, seine Erfahrungen während des Genozids. In der Retrospektive fragt man sich wie es passieren konnte, dass die Welt untätig zusah, als im Frühjahr und Sommer 1994 in Ruanda über 800.000 Menschen in nur 100 Tagen dem Morden zum Opfer fielen. 25 Jahre nach dem Genozid in Ruanda laden GoverNET & die Professur für Internationale Politik zur Filmvorführung des Dokumentarfilmes Ghosts of Rwanda ein. Im Anschluss an den Film wird es Raum für Fragen und Diskussionen mit Prof. Dr. Bernhard Stahl und Robin Hering geben.
