Indonesian visitors to the department straight from the Biennale

The Indonesian Pavilion is represented at the 61st Venice Art Biennale with the project “Printing the Unprinted.” After a six-year hiatus, the country is presenting works by 14 emerging artists under the curatorship of Aminudin TH Siregar.

From Venice, the group of artists traveled directly to Passau, where they were warmly welcomed by Professor Padmanabhan’s department with an extensive program. Aminudin TH Siregar is the curator of the “Indonesian Pavilion” and teaches at the Bandung Institute of Technology. After their visit, the group continued on to Amsterdam.
