In connection with the further development of the degree programme, the specialisation certificates will be converted into a module programme/continuing education certificate. This will continue to enable you to pursue targeted professionalisation in the designated areas of specialisation, but will also allow you to earn additional credit points (30 ECTS) in the future.

Among other things, this will give you access to part-time master's programmes (in the field of internationalisation, for example, the master's programme in International Education and Global Learning, which will start in the summer semester of 2026).

Information on the eligible programmes will be published in a timely manner via the corresponding Stud.IP group. You can already register for these programmes without obligation.

The changeover is currently being finalised and fed into the corresponding structures – we will inform you via our homepage as soon as concrete information is available.All students already enrolled in the previous specialisation certificates can still complete them.
