Grant for books and study materials – Apply now until 20 November 2026!

Students in financial need have the opportunity to apply for a one-off grant under the ‘Oskar-Karl-Forster’ scholarship programme.

Through the Oskar-Karl-Forster Scholarship, the University of Passau offers full support to talented students and those in financial need, as well as PhD students. This one-off grant of up to 500.00 euros enables students to purchase urgently needed books and other learning resources – such as laptops. PhD students may use this scholarship exclusively to help cover the printing costs of their theses. The scholarship is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts.
