Rosana Pinheiro-Machado is an anthropologist who has studied working-class life, inequality, and political subjectivity in the Global South for over two decades. She is the editor of the book “The Rise of the Radical Right in the Global South” (2023) and author of the books “Amanhã Vai Ser Maior” (2019) and “Counterfeit Itineraries in the Global South” (2017), along with her many other publications. Her recent project, “Flexible Work, Rigid Politics,” focuses on Brazil, India, and the Philippines.
