Job Vacancy: Student Research Assistant (m/f/d) – Chair of Development Politics

The position of student assistant at the Chair of Development Policy (Professor Dr. Wolfram Schaffar) at the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences will be available from July 1st, 2026 at the earliest.

Workload: 20 hours per month
Compensation: €15.20 per hour
Start Date: From July 1, 2026

Your Main Responsibilities:

Support of teaching activities and the organization of the chair.
Substantive support during the chair team's working meetings.
Assistance with the further development and maintenance of the chair’s website (to a minor extent).

Your Profile: We are looking for a motivated individual (at least in their second semester of study) interested in a long-term position. You possess a strong sense for clear communication and, ideally, have an interest or experience in the field of website design. A substantive interest in topics related to development policy and/or Asian studies, as well as an enjoyment of cooperative, interdisciplinary teamwork, is required.
