From August to September, Bancharat Polpila visited Chiang Mai and Bangkok to
further strengthen academic partnerships and expand networks with universities in Thailand. The trip aimed to build long-term connections and identify new
opportunities for collaboration in research, teaching, and exchange.
At Chiang Mai University, she met with Prof. Chusak Wittayapak from the
Development Studies program to discuss future cooperation with the University of Passau, focusing on areas of the student exchange program. In Bangkok, she held additional meetings with Prof. Naruemon Thabchumpon from Chulalongkorn
University, Ms. Wimomsiri Hemtanon, and Mr. Matthana Rodyim from Mahidol
University. These discussions centered on potential joint research initiatives, informal cooperation, and ways to foster stronger academic exchange between Thai universities and the University of Passau.
Through these visits, new avenues for collaboration were opened, laying the
foundation for closer partnerships in the years to come.
